"After achieving her degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham in 2020, Maryam worked at The Essex Smile Centre then joined Chaulden Practice in December 2020.
Prevention is her watch word and Maryam strongly feels that the more we can work with patients to teach them how to help and protect themselves from developing serious oral diseases, the better.
The most rewarding aspect of her role is when patients return for another appointment, having heeded her advice, feeling the difference with their oral health, and smiling with more confidence.
Maryam loves to bake cakes, biscuits and all the good stuff, thereby proving that a treat is not out of the question if you clean your teeth properly afterwards.
